I’ve stared into the face
of utter madness
Been a witness to many a
Ghastly things
I’m drowning in a pool
Of overwhelming sadness
They don’t see me
And yet their eye really stings
❍
I’m in the state of Oblivion
Known as the madness well
They won’t let me out
Although I would never tell
I’m all the way at the bottom
Yes, I stumbled and fell
The water is rising…
Can’t you hear my frightful yell?!
